We have big news! Moving Writers is expanding to serve all K-12 writing teachers!
To meet this need and increase the much-needed diversity of voices represented on this site, we are searching for new contributing writers. Contributing writers select a writing-instruction “beat” to pursue for one semester or one school year and post a minimum of one time per month. No writers at Moving Writers, including Allison and Rebekah, get paid through this site.
To Apply:
- Send us a writing sample! Your piece should be 1,000-2,000 words (give or take!) and can be about any topic in K-12 writing instruction or coaching. Like the other posts on Moving Writers, your sample piece should have a rather narrow focus that highlight practical strategies teachers can take into their classrooms tomorrow.
Please send your writing sample as a Google Doc or Word document to movingwriters@gmail.com. Please type CONTRIBUTING WRITER SAMPLE in the subject.
