100 Days of Summer Writing 2019: A Call for Mentor Texts

Friends, it’s almost time. Moving Writers is hosting its second annual 100 Days of Summer Writing — a mentor-text driven writing exploration for teachers and students alike!

But we need your help!

We need to compile (at least) 100 mentor-text-inspired writing invitations! And we want YOU to contribute a verse!

Here’s how:

1. Find some mentor text inspiration — it could be an image, a poem, an evocative sentence or two, a piece of data! (You can look at last year’s slides for ideas!)
2. Create a Google slide – Use the example below to create a Google slide (or slides) for each bit of mentor text inspiration you gather! Here’s the sample:

All submissions should be shared with us by May 15! (We are going live June 1!)
